Lovin' Lush!

Hello everyone!
Well it has been a while since my last post and I do apologise, but anyways I'm back!
I have been having quite a lot of skin problems at the moment due to stress, after all it is exam season! So after trying to many different products from Simple's face wash to St Ives etc I wasn't having any luck at all, so I decided I would go into lush to see what they could offer. I have always loved Lush, their bath bombs are just amazing right?!

So I wasn't shy at using their products.
I ended up talking to a lovely lady who agreed that it wasn't worth spending out lots of money on products which weren't going to work for me. She was so helpful and I ended up walking out with a bag load of samples to try!

My most favourite sample was the face wash called Fresh Farmacy! I loved it so much that I had to go and purchase a normal sized one (which is in the pictures below!).

To use this product you take a small chunk of the product add a little bit of water and then lather it up in your hands. It turns into a creamy/foamy texture.

It contains chamomile, lavender, elderflower and calamine which are all designed to be gentle on the skin and calm it down. An added bonus is that it has tea tree oil which is an antiseptic.I bought 160 grams of the product and it cost £7.89.

I have been using this product for around two weeks now and I have to say that this face wash has worked wonders for my skin. My skin was so red and sore before I tried this. What is also great about this product is that a little bit lasts for a very long time. I'm still using the small sample the lady from Lush had given me.

I would really recommend this product to anyone who has sensitive skin or wants a natural, cruelty free product.

Empties!

Hello my lovelies! How are you all?
I hope you are having a great half term. I've been busy working as I asked for some extra shifts hence it being half term, so I'm sorry for being so quiet recently!

Anyway, today I thought I would share with you all products that I have used up and if I would repurchase them or not.

Going from left to right, the first product I have is Lush's Sweetie Pie.
It is basically a shower jell but in a jelly form.I have used this product numerous times now and I still love it to pieces. For 100g it costs £3.25 and you can find it online here .This product smells amazing. It smells just like blackcurrant jelly babies, it is just so sweet. The way I use it is, I take a small chunk of it and work it into a loafer so it eventually lathers up and then I use it all over my body. I will definitely be repurchasing again and again and again! Lush is also a great place to buy bath and make-up products as they do not test on animals and all of the ingredients they use are 100% natural.

Next is the Simple Kind to Skin Facial Wipes.
Once again this is a product that I keep on repurchasing as these wipes leave my skin feeling so soft and they also do a great job at removing the make-up etc from my face. Each pack costs £3.25 from Boots (here) and there are 25 wipes in a pack. They also do not contain any perfume, alcohol or colour which is perfect for my skin as sometimes it can be a little sensitive.

Impulse's mini in the sent Thrill is another product I have used up. I like the mini versions as they are easy to fit into my bag, however because they are small, they do run out very quickly. This was given to me so I am unsure of the price but I will be on the hunt for another one in Boots or Superdrug.

Nivea's Stress Protect Antiperspirant is another product I absolutely loved. It has such a subtle smell and it also does last a very long time, which is great when I have an 8 hour shift at work. However, I don't think that I will be repurchasing as I love the Garnier one too much. At the moment this only costs £1.07 in Boots (here).

Vosene Kids Extra Shine De-tangling Spray is a product which feels like it's going to last forever. I picked it up as it was only £1.00 at the time and I hated the smell. However I cannot deny that it did do the job, but the smell put me off so much that I will not be repurchasing.

Tony and Guy's creative hair spray is another mini I have used up. My boyfriend bought me this to keep at his uni for when I stay and I fell in love with it. It smells amazing. It's not too sweet and not too strong and it holds my hair perfectly! I will be going out and purchasing the full size version.I have always stood by Tony and Guy's hair sprays as they do such an amazing job.

My final product that I have used up is Rimmel's Stay Matte Pressed Powder. This is my favourite powder ever! I have been using this since I was 13 and I would never want to use anything else. I use the colour transparent which is the perfect shade for me and I think they cost around £3.99 from Boots (here). I would really recommend this product!

So that's all the products I have used up recently!

No.7 Soft and Soothed Gentle Toner.

Sorry for not posting as much recently, I now have a job and as it's half term I put my name down for more hours.

I was given a £5 off voucher in Boots for No7 and I had been wanting to purchase a toner for quite a while as I have been hearing so many other bloggers rave about them. I decided to give the one by No.7 a try and with my £5 off voucher it only cost me £3 which is such a bargain!
I have used this a few times now and I have to say that it does such a great job! However No.7 only make one toner and this toner is for normal/dry skin which is a shame.

It claims to refresh, comfort and hydrate the skin. Which I think it does.It is also pH balanced, fragrance free, alcohol free and also it is hypo allergenic.

Overall, I think this is an amazing toner, as it removes any make-up that I haven't managed to remove. It also leaves my skin feeling so fresh and clean!

What's your favourite toner?

MAC BLUSH - AT DUSK!

As you all must know by now, I have a serious obsession with Mac products.I have been on the hunt for a decent blush for quite a long time now and I was having a little browse in my local Mac outlet the other day when I spotted this. It's Mac's extra dimension blush in the colour At Dusk.
I think it is the most gorgeous, pigmented colour ever and it's also perfect for spring! It adds that subtle pink to my cheeks and as I have pretty fair skin it works so well for me.
What's a bonus is that I only paid £13.50 for it! For that price I couldn't complain. It's everything I could ever ask for in a blush. I would honestly repurchase this blusher because I love it that much.

Rimmel Haul!

Hello lovelies! How are you all?
It's that time of the week again, yes it's Friday!I'm going to be powering on through my coursework this weekend, I am so determined to get it all done now so I can enjoy the half term, start revising properly and not have to worry!
Anyway, I also found out on Monday that I was successful at my interview for a job at Marks and Spencer's so I am over the moon with happiness so I thought I would treat myself to some new make-up.
In Boots at the moment there is three for two on and of course I had to take advantage of that!
I have always been a fan of the brand Rimmel as I find their make-up to be really good value as well as being good quality.

After hearing lots about the Stay Matte primer (you can find it online here) and the Stay Matte foundation (online here), I decided to give these a try for myself.
As you all know I am a big fan of Maybelline's Baby Skin but this time I thought I would try something else.Rimmel's Stay Matte primer is only £5.99 which is cheaper than Baby Skin and I think you also get more primer for your money with Rimmel's primer. However, I am not too sure about the texture of the foundation at the moment, but I will do a separate review on this!
The Stay Matte foundation costs £5.99 as well which is really good value and I cannot wait to try it out!

The next thing I chose was two nail polishes from the 60 seconds Rita Ora range. I chose the colour Lose Your Lingerie (the light pink one) and the Do Not Disturb one. You can find them on the Boots website here. They cost £3.69 each. I thought these two colours are going to be great for spring and I really cannot wait to use them! I also want to go back and buy more from the range as there are so many good colours to choose from!

The final thing in my Rimmel haul is the Match Perfection Silky Loose Powder. My mum actually picked this up for my from Asda as I was running low on powder and she was popping into the shop anyway. I normally use the Stay Matte Pressed Powder but there wasn't any in Asda at the time so I'm now going to try this one. I'm not too sure about using a loose powder to be honest, but again, I'll let you all know how I get on with it.
This was £6.99 from Asda but you can also purchase this from Boots too.

Overall, I'm really happy with the products I've purchased and I'm soo excited to try them all out.

MUA'S COLOUR BURST EYESHADOW TINT!

I had wanted to try an eye shadow crayon for quite a while as it seemed like an easy way to apply to your eyelids. However I didn't want to spend out on one if I then turned around and didn't like it. When I purchased my Pretty Edgy pallet from Superdrug (see review here.) they were offering a free MUA Colour Burst Eye Shadow Tint, which would normally cost £3. I wouldn't have minded paying that price either to be honest but it was a bonus that it came free with the pallet.
I decided to keep it neutral so I chose the colour Unfaithful. This shade is a very light brown, it almost looks golden. I love the texture of the crayon as it glides onto my skin very nicely and it is also very pigmented.
I think it is a great alternative if you do not want to spend a lot on a product like this.
Overall, I would like to try other shades as I feel that the product really worked well for me and for only three pounds I can't complain!

Have you tried an eye shadow crayon? & Which one is your favourite?
