Lush Face Mask Review!

Hello my lovelies! How are you all?
I had my last exam on Friday. I'm so relieved that all of my exams are over and I can now start to enjoy my summer! I have so many things to look forward to such as my birthday and my holiday etc.

Anyways, for today's post I thought I would do another Lush review, but this time it's on one of their face masks called Catastrophe Cosmetic.
It contains blueberries, calamine, chamomile, rose and almond oils which are all designed to calm and soothe the skin as it says on the Lush website (here).
Personally, I think it does exactly that. After using this product my skin feels so smooth like a baby's bottom haha! I also love the smell it has, as I think it has quite a neutral sent with a hint of blueberry.

Overall, I really like this product and it has effectively calmed all of the redness I had as well as combating some of the spot problems I've had.
I would recommend this product for someone who has sensitive skin and needs something to help tackle spot problems.

Current Everyday Make-up Look!

Hello everyone! How are you all?
I'm already having a busy week with work and revising for my last exam! Roll on Friday!

For today's post I would do an updated make-up routine, although,it tends to vary all the time.So start off my make-up, I like to prep my face with Rimmels Stay Matte primer. In the picture below I have the face and eye-shadow primer, which both make my skin feel super soft and it helps stop my face from getting too dry with foundation etc.

I then use Collection 2000's concealer to cover up any blemishes and dark circles under my eyes! I would really recommend this concealer as it has good coverage. I then apply Rimmels Match Perfection foundation in the shade ivory.

I then like to set my foundation and concealer with another Rimmel product. Rimmels Stay Matte powder in the shade transparent. I would honestly recommend Rimmels products as they are so affordable and also they are just simply amazing. I've been using Rimmel products since I was 13 and I always end up going back to them.

Next, is my eye shadow. It tends to change on a daily basis, but for today's look I've gone for one by Barry M and then on top I've used a colour crayon by MUA.

I then move on to do the rest of my eyes. At the moment I'm in love with the Thick and Fast mascara by Soap and Glory, it makes my eye lashes look so full and thick. I then use a Mac pencil eye liner on my water line and a Collection 2000 felt pen eye liner on the top of my lids. I also do my eyebrows then and I just use a light brown pencil by Rimmel.

And to top it all off,my current lipstick I'm loving for the summer is Rimmel's Colour Rush crayon.

Here is the look all put together!

Lovin' Lush!

Hello everyone!
Well it has been a while since my last post and I do apologise, but anyways I'm back!
I have been having quite a lot of skin problems at the moment due to stress, after all it is exam season! So after trying to many different products from Simple's face wash to St Ives etc I wasn't having any luck at all, so I decided I would go into lush to see what they could offer. I have always loved Lush, their bath bombs are just amazing right?!

So I wasn't shy at using their products.
I ended up talking to a lovely lady who agreed that it wasn't worth spending out lots of money on products which weren't going to work for me. She was so helpful and I ended up walking out with a bag load of samples to try!

My most favourite sample was the face wash called Fresh Farmacy! I loved it so much that I had to go and purchase a normal sized one (which is in the pictures below!).

To use this product you take a small chunk of the product add a little bit of water and then lather it up in your hands. It turns into a creamy/foamy texture.

It contains chamomile, lavender, elderflower and calamine which are all designed to be gentle on the skin and calm it down. An added bonus is that it has tea tree oil which is an antiseptic.I bought 160 grams of the product and it cost £7.89.

I have been using this product for around two weeks now and I have to say that this face wash has worked wonders for my skin. My skin was so red and sore before I tried this. What is also great about this product is that a little bit lasts for a very long time. I'm still using the small sample the lady from Lush had given me.

I would really recommend this product to anyone who has sensitive skin or wants a natural, cruelty free product.

Do you like Lush? What's your favourite product?
