My favourite hair products!

Hello my lovelies! How are you all?
As I am still off from college due to having my appendix out last week, I have a bit more time to blog, yay! So today I thought I would share with you all my current favourite hair care products.

The picture below are all of my favourite hair care products I use regularly.

I will list them going from left to right.
1) TONI&GUY Firm hold hair spray 250ml
I know this packaging doesn't exist any more as Toni&Guy had a slight make-over but I think I bought it for just over £6.
2) Trevor Sorbie beautifully straightened heat defence blow dry spray 50ml.
I picked this travel size one up as it was on sale in Boots for one pound and it's great for when I go to Swansea to see Miko. This is another product I cannot seem to find on the Boots website any more, which is a shame as I think this product it great and smells lovely.
3) Charles Worthington takeaways protect heat defence spray 50ml.
Unfortunately, this is once again another product I can no longer find on the Boots website. I purchased it in the sales for £1.
4) ghd thermal protect for dry, coarse hair 150ml.
This product came free when I purchased ghd straighteners. I'm not sure where else you can get this other than in salons!
5) Vosene Kids extra shine detangler spray 150ml.
This product is fab as it contains head lice repellent as well as getting out all the nasty tangles in my hair. I purchased this from ASDA and the link is here. At the moment they have it on offer for £1.
6) Herbal Essences Fresh Balance Clarifying Shampoo and Conditioner 400ml each.
I absolutely love this shampoo and conditioner. If you would like to know more about my thoughts on these products then check out my blog post on them here. You can also find there products in Boots, Superdrug and local supermarkets.
7) Herbal Essences Bee Strong hair mask 200ml
I recently purchased this product in the sales too for around £2. The normal price of this is £4.19 in Boots. You can find this product on their website here. I have also heard that you can find this in pound shops too! I tend to use this product around once a week

Here are the products I use in the shower.

Here are the products I use after I shower to protect and style my hair.

I would honestly recommend all of these products to anyone and everyone. I love them all and would definitely repurchase them as they leave my hair feeling soft and smelling great!

Curls galore!

Hello my lovelies!  How are you all?
I thought I'd share with you all my friend's media make-up assessment as I was lucky enough to have been asked to be a model for her.
My friend, Chloe Southall is studying media make-up at college and she was looking for someone to be a model for her first assessment, so of course I was ecstatic when she asked if I would like to be a model for her!

The theme for Chloe's assessment piece was based on 1950's Rita Hayworth.
The picture below is Rita Hayworth.

Around two weeks before her assessment, I stayed round her house so she could do a trial run...and I thought it would be great to show you guys and gals the different stages and the final result!

Here is the different stages of the rollers being put in. I was really excited to go under one of the old style hair dryers.

Here is how the curls turned out!

And here is the final result!

This is how I looked on the actual day of Chloe's assessment! I really hope she gets a good grade as personally I think she did amazing!

What have you been up to this week?

Review on Herbal Essences!

 Hello everyone!
I bet you are all dreading going back to school/college tomorrow, the cold early mornings; piles of work and coursework to do...the list goes on! Although I am looking forward to going back into a set routine to be honest, even if I'm not a morning person.

Anyway, today I thought I would do a review on the Herbal Essences Fresh Balance Clarifying conditioner and shampoo. There's a whole range of Herbal Essences shampoos and conditioners, doing different things for different hair types, but the one I got is for normal/oily hair. The Fresh Balance range is aimed at normal/oily hair.

At the moment it costs £1.94 for the shampoo and £1.94 for the conditioner in Boots but I also know that in ASDA they are doing selling it as two products for four pounds as sometimes it is hard to find in Boots. Another thing I noticed is that if you buy it from Boots you only get 400 ml and if you purchase it from ASDA then you receive 500 ml.

This product smells sweet and lovely as most Herbal Essences products do. They are made with icy pineapple and cotton extracts which leaves my hair feeling super soft and silky. My hair really isn't as bad as it was before I started using this product and for the price, I couldn't complain!

Have you tried any of the Herbal Essences range? & What's your favourite? Let me know in the comments box below!
